Your Councillors

Culworth Parish Council

Name About

Andrew Wilby (Chairman May 2021 to date)

I moved to Culworth in 2017, having lived in Towcester for 40 years. I represented Towcester on South Northants Council for a number of years, serving in the Cabinet and on Planning, Policy and Financial Committees. I was a member of the Steering group that oversaw the regeneration of Towcester Town Centre, and the southern extension and served as Chairman of the Council 2012-2013. Since 2009 I have been Chairman of John Taylor & Co Ltd of Loughborough, the last surviving Bellfoundry in the UK. Hopefully my past experience across local government may be of use locally.

Andy Field

Catherine Ruffley

I joined the Parish Council so that I can contribute my skills and energy to the community. I’ve been living in Culworth since 2019 and enjoy being part of the friendly village. Professionally I work for the National Governing Body of British Cycling, as a coach, tutor, mentor, sport developer and mental health first aider. Through this experience I bring teamwork, listening, planning, reacting, caring and personally more to the parish council. As a sports coach involved in planning and organising races, I encourage sporting activity within the parish while being compassionate about the residents and the village.

Amy Harrison

I moved to Culworth in 2024 and am proud to be planting roots in the village. I joined the Parish Council to contribute to our community and make a positive difference. I focus on communication and engagement and also serve as the school liaison link, helping to strengthen connections between the council and our local school. Professionally, I work in the education sector, specialising in research, and I bring additional experience as a school governor. I’m passionate about accessible, transparent local government, bringing residents together, and ensuring everyone feels informed and heard. I also care deeply about maintaining a safe, welcoming village and making thoughtful improvements to our community spaces.

Jose Rowling

I have lived in Culworth since 1986, and have been involved in village activities ever since.

Clive Waller

I settled in Culworth a little over two years ago and am delighted to now serve on the Parish Council. Following a 35-year career as a Maintenance Engineer, I am now retired and able to dedicate my time and energy to serving the community. My aim is to maintain the village’s valued amenities while also looking for ways to improve them for the future. My current responsibilities include play park safety, village maintenance, and contributing to the Planning Sub-Committee. I also support fellow councillors with their duties whenever needed.

Rob Stuart

I moved to the village in 2020, having grown up locally in Brackley. I have made Culworth my home and it is where I plan to raise my family. I work within the agricultural sector as a seed trader, and have worked on farms local to the village. My experience has fuelled my passion for farming and rural life. I have a deep understanding of working farms, land and public access that I feel is highly important and must be represented. I joined the parish council to create a more inclusive community and to ensure the voices of residents are heard.

Gary Denby

I became Clerk to the Parish Council in 2023. My role is to deal with the day-to-day running of the Parish, keep the financial records, manage the burial ground and any other duties that the Parish Council allocate me. All records of the Parish Council are available for inspection with prior notice as I work part time.
